Scots Gaelic for: ‘thumb’.
This heavy-set stoneware plate was unearthed in 2017 using small batch glazes and British clay in the delightful Aylesbury Art Centre, England whilst I was learning about manufacturing and supply chains in a local food factory! A peculiar yet enlivening chapter of existence! There are so so many stories within our thumb prints; think of all the places they’ve explored (other than our phone screens (!!))
Approximate measurements: 2.16lb // W:24cm // H: 3cm
Like all the mysterious fauna and flora we co-inhabit with, my ceramics are unique - what you own will not be replicated. Please do take care!
